Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Drascombe Lugger. The Lugger was the boat that started it all and they are still immensely popular. For sure they are the epitome of rugged simplicity, reliability, and seaworthiness in an open boat. The Lugger is equally at home pottering with the kids or undertaking more adventurous expeditions. This fine example is dry stored and remarkably has only had one owner from new. She is offered complete with a good inventory and with the Bramber break-back road trailer. Appointments to view can be booked in advance 6-days a week directly with Paul Singer your Boatshed Dartmouth broker.
This week as a Leicestershire couple celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary with a canal boat trip along the Grand Union Canal I thought I would celebrate the Grand Union itself. (The happy husband at 83 is the same age as the canal.) We have boats for sale all over the southern Grand Union and as Boatshed Inland we cover an even wider area.

It’s now a year since I began working for Boatshed Grand Union! We have lots to celebrate and it’s been an interesting year.

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Four Winns 245. These really are great boats with a really comfortable cockpit and plenty of seating. The cabin provides good space for stowing gear or getting out of the elements and could even be used for overnight weekending. This one seems to have had little use – the engine hours are low and the upholstery and fabrics are well presented. Please note that she is EU RCD Compliant (documents on file), VAT documentation is also on file.
Suffolk is no stranger to the Olympic Flame, having recently hosted it's transit from Lowestoft to Ipswich, where it arrived by boat in Ipswich Marina for the final part of it’s journey into Christchurch Park where it stayed for the night on it's way to the start of the games in London. That was back in July before the success of the GB team winning 29 Gold, 17 Silver and 19 Bronze medals.
